1964 Jaguar E Type OTS Roadster

1964 Jaguar E-Type Series I OTS Roadster 3.8L When restored is was finished in a proper period color of Opalescent Dark Green over tan, with a tan hood and hood cover. It started out as a numbers matching car, but rather than dealing with rust and body damage repair, the body shell (monocoque) was replaced with a new Martin Robey unit. Martin Roby Engineering is the world-renowned manufacturer of replaced parts for classic Jaguars. The frame that cradles the engine was also replaced with a new Martin Robey unit. The bonnet (nose of the car as we know it), doors, and trunk lid were all original. As the engine and transmission were found to be mechanically sound, they were not rebuilt. It starts with easy, does not smoke, and runs pretty smoothly.
