It was special ordered, and purchased new in 1972 by a B-52 pilot who was stationed in North Dakota upon his return from his tour in Vietnam. The original owner kept the Cougar until 2021 until a Cougar enthusiast in Texas purchased the car, but he had too many project cars and decided to sell the car.I bought the car in it's original condition, which was still very good but needing some restoration.
