1925 Buick Individual Custom Roadster

1925 Buick Individual Custom Roadster. This is a licensed and fully street legal automobile hand built by the master of a multitude of automotive skills. Powered by a 1950 Buick 263 cubic inch valve in head straight eight bored .040 over and fitted with dual Weber carburetors, it produces approximately 150 horsepower driven through a Borg Warner 5 speed gearbox with Camaro gears and a final .63 overdrive. A Nissan Truck rear axle was chosen for favorable weight and size, proper gearing, correct track, compatible brake size, and correct wheel bolt circle. The frame is a 1931 Chevrolet, narrowed at the seating area. The front axle is a 1948 Chevrolet truck direct bolt-in providing proper spring width, front track, and brakes. Wheels are 1931 Chevrolet 18 inch wires widened 1 1/2 inches. The steering is 1970s Ford pickup converted to cross type steering, better than drag link type. The body is hand made 18 gauge steel. Headlights are Adlake 3150s from a 1916 Stevens Duryea fitted with halogen bulbs. The total weight of the vehicle is 2520 pounds. A snug top is provided.
