Custom 1965 Ford Mustang Fastback 5-Speed

This 1965 Ford Mustang Fastback began as a C-Code model with a 4-speed manual. New bodywork and paint were installed and applied by Rodz Body Shop in San Carlos, California. The Fox-body 5. A Tremec T5 World Class 5-speed manual transmission sends power through a 3. 5â?³ aluminum driveshaft to an 8â?³ Currie Trac Lok rear end with 3. 80 gears. The suspension system, braking components, and all other major systems were upgraded during the process, and the interior was also refinished. The car has been driven just 3,800 miles since the work was completed. During the refurbishment process, the body was bead-blasted to a bare shell and truck-bed liner was applied underneath and throughout the interior. Marathon Blue paint with Metallic Slate stripes was then applied, along with a clearcoat. This Mustang rides on 15Ã?7â?³ American Racing Torque Thrust-D wheels with 6061 machined center caps. Four-wheel disc brakes are from an SN95 Mustang and are augmented with an SN95 master cylinder, adjustable proportioning valve, four-piston front Kelsey Hayes calipers, and SN95 rear calipers with custom CNC-machined 1020 steel caliper mounts. Suspension and driveline highlights are listed as an 8â?³ Currie Trac Lok third-member with 3. 80 gears, Calvert Racing CalTrac bars, a 1-1/8â?³ front sway bar, a Shelby front-upper control arm relocation, a custom mandrel-bent steel shock tower brace, and a 3. 5â?³ aluminum driveshaft that was balanced and fitted with Spicer U-joints. A 22-gallon fuel tank modified with AN-fittings and a baffle for the EFI system is highlighted via trunk pictures in the gallery. The cabin benefits from redone TMI upholstery including lateral bolstering for the front bucket seats as shown above. The heater blower motor and wiper motor are not currently wired. A custom-tuned EEC-IV ECU with live data logging, Moates quarterhorse, and a glovebox-mounted USB interface are included. A wooden Grant steering wheel was added, and the stereo has been upgraded with a Retrosound Model 2 Bluetooth-enabled system including rear kick-panel speakers. The odometer currently shows 3,800 miles, which reflects the total driven since the build was completed in 2015.
