1966 Pontiac Le Mans

Fully Restored 1966 Pontiac Lemans GTO Clone   This was a frame off Restoration that was finished in 2017. The car has 548 miles on it since it was done. The body was stripped off its frame and all the sheet metal Was shipped down to Metal Works paint removal where is was set in a tank to be stripped of all it rust and paint.  Once the body and parts were done being stripped it was then metal worked, all the rust was cut out and replace with all new sheet metal. Once that was done the body was then set on its custom Art Morrison chassis where everybody panel was gapped and fitted. Once the panels where fitted all the body work started every panel was hammered and dollied. The body then was sprayed in PPG DP50. Once the dp50 was applied we started to block it out to find and lows or highs. The car was then sprayed in a high build primer and was long blocked with 120. After that another premiering was done and the car was long blocked with 320. The car was then pulled off its frame where the frame was sent out to be powder coated. The under body was painted with por 15 rust paint and then seam sealed with Sem 2-part epoxy, once that was done the under body was sprayed with a light coat of under coating made by raptor liner. Once the frame came back from coating the body was set back on its chassis the car was then blocked out with 600 and the car was painted in pieces so there are no tape lines.
