1969 Jaguar XKE OTS 4-Speed

This 1969 Jaguar XKE is a Series 2 open two-seater that retains its matching-numbers 4. 2L straight-six and a 4-speed manual transmission. A repaint in original British Racing Green reportedly included all surfaces aside from the engine bay. The finish is described as being of good quality overall with small blemishes and panel misalignments visible on close inspection. Chrome 15â?³ wire wheels wear modern Yokohama radials. The tan convertible top was originally black and is shown both raised and lowered under a matching cover. Originally Suede Green, the interior was redone in two-tone tan including perforated seat inserts, which are correct starting with this chassis number according to the JCNA Judgeâ??s Guide. New door panels were sourced along with console trim, a carpet kit, wheel arch covers, and more. Factory controls include a wood-rimmed wheel and several styles of rocker switch in the center dash. Total mileage is unknown. The windscreen washer is also noted as inoperative. New liners were installed in the trunk, which is home to a factory tool roll. The 4. Twin Stromberg carburetors were also rebuilt, and a stainless dual exhaust was fitted along with a new alternator. An oil change was performed 1,000 miles after the engine rebuild at 47k. A new clutch and mount were also fitted for the 4-speed manual transmission in 2015. Running gear was renewed including fresh shocks along with new brake calipers, hoses, rotors, and pads.
