1966 Porsche 912 Coupe

This 1966 Porsche 912 coupe is believed to have stayed in the Monterey/Carmel, California area from new and is finished in Polo Red over black leatherette. It was built on April 4, 1966 and optioned with tinted windows and ventilated chrome wheels. The numbers-matching 1600cc flat-four and original 5-speed manual gearbox were reportedly rebuilt by Ollie Anderson in Carmel Valley years ago. Around 300 miles ago, a $4k service was also completed. Originally finished in Bahama Yellow, the car was repainted Polo Red in 2005 and still shows a good shine in the provided photographs. 15� Fuchs alloy wheels have been fitted and are shod in Bridgestone Potenza tires all around. The cabin appears largely stock with a three-gauge instrument cluster. The 1600cc flat-four and dogleg 5-speed transmission were reportedly rebuilt including a new crankshaft by the late Porsche-specialist Ollie Anderson in Carmel Valley.
