8-liter L28 inline-six and a five-speed manual transmission. The body was repainted in silver and the interior was re-trimmed in black vinyl and cloth at that time. Equipment includes an aluminum radiator, an ANSA exhaust system, front disc brakes, 14″ wheels, and a Kenwood CD stereo linked to aftermarket speakers. Exterior details include a driver-side mirror, Z badging on the C-pillars, bright window trim, and a chrome front bumper guard. Bubbles and cracks in the paint can be seen in the photo gallery. The 14″ wheels are mounted with Dunlop tires. The car was factory equipped with an independent suspension, a front stabilizer bar, and rack-and-pinion steering. Stopping is provided by power-assisted front disc and rear drum brakes. The bucket seats have been reupholstered in black vinyl with cloth inserts that extend to the door panels. Equipment includes a center console with an armrest as well as an electric rear window defogger and a Kenwood CD stereo linked to aftermarket speakers housed in the rear cargo area.
