Description
He has since made numerous modifications, including a subtle lift, aftermarket roof rack, bumpers, bull bar, winch, rock sliders, air compressor, air locking rear differential, heated front seats, and more. Powered by a 4. 0-liter V8 engine paired to 4-speed automatic transmission, the truck has been well maintained and comes with a large collection of service records and receipts, as well as many of the original removed items. The body is finished in Arles Blue (424), with a small blemish noted on the passenger door. The glass and body panels are reported to be original. The stock 16â?³ wheels wear Cooper Discoverer STT Pro tires, and a set of white Defender 110 steel wheels mounted on BFG Mud Terrains are also included. A 2â?³ lift was installed, stronger front and rear bumpers were fitted, and the running boards were replaced with rock sliders. Folding side steps are genuine Land Rover units. The removable roof rack is by Safety Devises, and is one of few made in England that fit with a NAS Defender 90 factory roll cage. An aftermarket Mantec swing-out spare tire carrier, Safari Gard front bull bar, M8000 Warn winch, and a roof mounted LED light bar have also been installed. It has been featured in several 4WD publications and advertisements, and also won the â??Best Land Rover in Showâ? award at the 2009 All British Field Meet presented by Land Rover Portland. Inside, the cabin features factory air conditioning, and was modified with a central panel to consolidate switches and gauges. New Ashcroft Elite MK-II heated front seats were added in October 2015. An ARB compressor is located under the passenger seat, and a 350mm Momo competition steering wheel and Kenwood head unit have replaced the stock units. The original front seats and steering wheel are included in the sale. The rear sliding window guides and felts were replaced in 2015, and a new headliner was installed in 2016. The stock folding rear jump seats were reinstalled one month ago. The 4. 0-liter aluminum block Rover V8 was good for 182 hp when new and is backed by a ZF 4-speed automatic transmission.
